Wave springs have the unique advantage of saving space and can be used as an alternative to round wire springs. By reducing the working height of the spring, the wave spring also reduces the volume of the spring cavity. It achieves cost savings with smaller component sizes and less material used to fabricate. Wave springs belong to load-bearing equipment. They occupy the gap and compensate for dimensional changes in the unit. By gradually accumulating or abruptly changing the load to bring the wave spring to a predetermined working height, it is possible to generate almost any range of forces. This makes it possible to establish an exact elastic ratio that is proportional to the load and the degree of deformation. Both dynamic and static spring applications require functional requirements.
A spring-accumulated/pan-plug seal is a spring-actuated pressure-assisted seal with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) jacket that is specially equipped with a corrosion-resistant metal accumulator spring for a spring-reinforced seal. When a PTFE seal is installed in a seal groove, the spring is compressed, causing the jacket lip to fit snugly against the seal groove, creating a seal. Springs provide permanent elasticity to the seal jacket and compensate for material wear and offset or eccentricity of mating parts. The system pressure also assists in the energy storage of the seal jacket. Thanks to the spring force assisted by the system pressure, an effective seal can be achieved at both high and low pressures.

In terms of guidewires, the current processing length can be up to 10 meters.
